Siemens Arne

Arne studied environmental protection technology at the University of Stuttgart. He wrote his diploma thesis in 2006 at the Daimler AG on “End of line sound analysis of gears through the wavelet process”. He took part in the international trainee programme of the Audi AG in 2006-2007, before working as a developer in vehicle physics at Audi AG from 2007 to 2011, with a focus on measurement/analysis/simulation of powertrain vibrations in the overall vehicle. He then worked as a developer in vehicle testing from 2011 to 2017, with the following focus:

-          Development of testing strategies and classification, 2011-2012

-          Coordination of the board meeting on reject parts at Audi AG, 2011-2012

-          Coordination of the team on testing of driver assistance systems and integral safety, 2013-2017

-          Nomination as specialist for Audi AG, September 2016

-          Last major project 2015-2017: Development/Testing of a new driver assistance platform for the series production of the new A8, A6 and Q8 derivatives.

Since 1st January 2018, he has been the team coordinator for renewable fuels/energies in the Department for Sustainable Product Development at Audi, in the section on Development of the Overall Vehicle. Furthermore, Arne is the project leader for the e-diesel facility in Switzerland, in cooperation with Ineratec and Energiedienst. Arne works there together with (and for) Dr Hermann Pengg, who is responsible for large e-fuels projects within the management of Audi. Dr Pengg is the director of the e-gas facility in Werlte and one of the founders of the e-fuels technology.
