Power-to-Heat improves heating cost balance by 21 percent

By employing power-to-heat in oil-based hybrid heating systems, homeowners could reduce their heating costs by a good fifth from revenues on the electricity market and reduced fuel requirements. These are the initial findings of a reference system installed by the German  Institute for Heating and Oil Technology (IWO) in Berlin.
