Energy labelling: Eurofuel welcomes MEPs’ confirmed support for a realistic reform

The European Parliament voted in favour of major changes to the rules for the affixing of labels indicating the energy efficiency of products in the EU. Eurofuel welcomes MEPs’ support for a system reflecting the different speed of technological progress across products and incentivising consumers to purchase more efficient appliances. The rescaling of energy labels should be based on sound principles and consider the specificities of heating appliances.
