The European organisation Eurofuel is looking for a new Secretary General.
Be there as our members actively shape the future. Eurofuel, the European Liquid Heating Fuels Association, represents organisations promoting the use of liquid fuels for domestic heating in Europe. Our membership covers 10 European countries and includes over 10,000 companies. Eurofuel promotes existing and innovative technologies for liquid fuels for heating and appliances in the domestic market. In this way, our members are committed to the energy transition: ensuring the competitiveness and efficiency of heating with liquid fuels, while reducing its environmental footprint.

Your tasks:
- Be up to date: You are informed about relevant legislation and policy milestones impacting our sector and take the key messages to our members
- Move us forward: You improve our strategy on policy and regulatory issues
- Be our face in Brussels: You represent the interests of the liquid fuel heating sector to European institutions and stakeholders, attending relevant events and maintaining our strong network
- Guide us: You coordinate the activities of the association and identify issues relevant to the industry and formulate positions for Eurofuel in cooperation with our Board, Technical Commission and PR Commission
- Keep us together: Maintaining and developing the association’s membership
Your skills:
- You are interested in meeting stakeholder and organising and attending one-to-one meetings with institution and stakeholder representatives
- You are experienced in creating content e.g. for our website, social media and position papers, you know how websites work
- You are interested in meeting our members, you prepare meetings and do the organisation (e.g. regularly board meetings, the annual General Assembly, working groups meetings…)
- You develop new ideas for membership management and partnerships, maintain regular contact with all members and respond to requests for information, and be willing to attend relevant member events in member countries
